Park Description
Exploration Peak Park is an 80-acre regional park that features picnic areas, hiking trails for valley views, and an Old West-themed play area. The park also has volleyball courts, covered pavilions, a water play area, and an outdoor amphitheater.
The park’s focal point is the 2,846-foot-high Exploration Peak, which offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley and Mountain’s Edge community. The hiking trail to the peak is primarily dirt and shadeless, but there are covered benches along the climb and at the top.
Other trails throughout the park are easy and well-maintained. Visitors can see wildflowers and other natural wildlife, and there is a Native American village with teepees and totem poles for kids to explore.
